A woman has been taken to hospital following a crash at a major roundabout in Southend.
Emergency services were called to Eastern Avenue, in Southend, near McDonalds, after receiving reports of a crash.
Essex Police, the East of England Ambulance Service, and Essex Fire were all pictured at the scene this morning just before 11am.
The East of England Ambulance Service has since confirmed that a woman has been taken to Southend Hospital for treatment following the crash.
A spokesman said: “We were called at 10.40 to a road traffic collision on the Eastern Avenue in Southend.
"Two ambulances were sent to the scene where they were assisted by colleagues from the Police and Fire and Rescue Service.
"An adult woman was transported to Southend Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
