A NEW doggie day retreat will be opening in an Essex town village this month.

Mabel and Friends Day Retreat has announced it will be opening its doors to the new site in Hatfield Peverel.

The 2,600 square-foot indoor facility and its sprawling outdoor space of more than half an acre of mown lawn is set to become the “ultimate haven” for dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds across the county.

Mabel and Friends Day Retreat offers unparalleled services, including daycare, grooming, veterinary nurse appointments, dog nutritionist consultations, allergy or intolerance testing, and training sessions.

In addition to the comprehensive services, Mabel and Friends Day Retreat offers transportation options, including train station collections and drop-offs from Witham Station and Beaulieu Park when it opens, as well as home pick-ups within a five-mile radius of the centre.

Membership at Mabel & Friends is priced at £120 per year, which provides access to all services for up to two dogs from one household.

A full day at the retreat will cost £40.00 for adult and £45.00 for puppies and include the highest standard of care for the dogs visiting, whether regularly or as a one-off.

Each dog will undergo a temperament test before joining to ensure they receive the most appropriate and tailored care.
