DRIVERS are being warned of disruption due to resurfacing works.
Cherry Orchard Way, in Rochford, is set to be resurfaced to improve routes to the adjoining business parks.
The road will be shut overnight between 8pm and 5am on September 23 and 24 from the Airport Business Park roundabout to Eastwoodbury Lane roundabout.
This closure will ensure the public and workforce are safely separated and to provide access for heavy machinery.
Escort vehicles will be available to guide drivers leaving the business premises during this time and pedestrian access will be maintained.
Entry after 8pm is restricted to emergency services only.
A spokesman for Essex Highways said: "Resurfacing will be carried out on the on B1013 Cherry Orchard Way, Rochford, which will improve the route to the adjoining business parks, including KFC and the car dealerships.
"Thank you for your understanding and co-operation. Let’s work together to ensure everyone’s safety during these essential works."
