DOZENS of free pizzas are up for grabs when Domino's opens its new store in Westcliff this week.

The pizza giant will open its doors to new customers on Wednesday when it officially opens after replacing the former Army and Navy store.

The shop has been empty since the owners retired in March this year.

The store will create 30 jobs for the area and the business are currently hiring for delivery drivers.

The store will be offering any size pizza £10.99 collection for two weeks.

The opening day will also see a free pizza given away to the first 100 customers on Wednesday when it opens at 11am.

Sree Uppalanchi, area manager of the new location, said:

“We’re excited to come to Westcliff-on-Sea, to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza. The new store means we can offer closer collection for customers along with improved delivery times.

“We are passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people from Westcliff can grow and develop their careers.

“Over 90 percent of Domino’s store managers started in-store or as a delivery driver, so whether you’re looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone.”

The chain serves pizza, hand made with fresh dough, vine-ripened tomato sauce and always 100% mozzarella.

It will offer flexible working shifts to fit around existing schedules, with many training and progression opportunities.

The store will be open 11am-11pm, seven days a week.
