The Cliffs Pavilion has announced a range of exciting shows set to hit the stage next month - here is a round-up of the events you can catch soon! 

Il Divo

A renowned classical crossover vocal group are embarking on a new tour to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

Il Divo are coming to the Cliffs Pavilion, in Station Road, marking 20 years with a special show on Monday October 21 at 7pm.

A spokesman said: "The iconic quartet Il Divo started celebrating their 20th anniversary earlier this year with the release of their 10th full length album XX."

"It is the group's first album with new member Steven LaBrie, after the tragic passing of founding member Carlos Marin in 2021 due to COVID-19.

"Between selling out tours on multiple continents, they've performed everywhere from the Summer Olympics and FIFA World Cup to Diamond Jubilee at Windsor and the Commander-in-Chief's Ball.

"Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with stunning vocals, breathtaking music, and the undeniable magic of Il Divo.

"The upcoming shows will be filled with Il Divo’s hits from their vast catalogue of songs as well as songs from their new 20th anniversary album."

Tickets are priced between £45.50 and £270.50.


Kenny Thomas: Greatest Hits 

A double brit-award nominated soul artist is bringing his greatest hits show to the Cliffs Pavilion next month.

Kenny Thomas has announced his biggest ever tour for autumn 2024 and will be bringing his "funkestra" to the Cliffs Pavilion in Westcliff on Sunday October 20. 

Tickets are priced from £37.75. 

A spokesman said: "Kenny Thomas stands as one of the UK’s most successful soul singers of his generation, having had two Top 10 albums and eight Top 40 singles over his thirty-year-plus career.

"Supporting Kenny across the tour will be Brit nominated singer-songwriter Rumer, who’s first album ‘Seasons of My Soul’ landed in the Top 3 of the UK Albums Charts."

Lord of the Dance

A world-renowned dance show is coming to the Cliffs Pavilion this October.

Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance event is making a return to the United Kingdom as part of a 25th anniversary celebration - with the show heralded as "one of the most successful productions" in history

The show will come to Westcliff's Cliffs Pavilion from Tuesday 8 to Sunday 13 October, with tickets priced between £34.75 and £60.25.

Jools Holland and the rhythm and blues orchestra 

A "music maestro" is bringing his famous rhythm and blues orchestra to the Cliffs Pavilion next month.

Jools Holland is teaming up with Marc Almond of Soft Cell fame for a special series of shows at the Cliffs Pavilion in Westcliff from Thursday October 31 to Friday November 1. 

Tickets start at £55. 

A spokesman said: "Musical maestro Jools Holland and his famous rhythm and blues Orchestra have announced the run of dates for their 2024 Autumn and Winter tour, with special guests Marc Almond and Toby Lee.

"Fans will be thrilled to hear that the shows will once again feature the incredible Ruby Turner and the outstanding vocals of Louise Marshall, and Sumudu Jayatilaka.

"Together with the skilful musicianship of the rhythm and blues orchestra, which features drums from original Squeeze member Gilson Lavis, Jools Holland will be performing tracks spanning his entire solo career.

Magic of Motown

A dazzling event is celebrating 20 years of bringing the magic of Motown to audiences. 

The Magic of Motown is marking 20 years of touring the UK with a special show on Friday October 25, bringing hits, glittering costumes and dazzling dance routines to the stage.
