ALMOST £2,000 has already been raised to support the family of a little girl who was hit by a car on a zebra crossing.
Ella Heels, from Rayleigh, is facing spending up to six months in hospital as she recovers from a series of severe injuries.
The four-year-old is receiving treatment from specialist at Broomfield Hospital and is expected to have a skin graft next week after undergoing surgery on her eye on Saturday morning.
The youngsters family have issued a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already donated and offered words of support.
The Go Fund Me, set up by Ana Baker, reads: “Ella was involved in a car accident and we would like to raise funds to assist in her recovery and provide some financial aid whilst she is in hospital.
“Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated.
The brave youngster has suffered third degree burns across her arms and face following the incident.
Ella is said to be doing well following her surgery and the money will go a long way for her and her family as she looks to recover from this ordeal.
