A unique coffee shop with a built-in children's play area is set to open in Leigh, offering a family-friendly space where parents can unwind while their children enjoy fun and safe play.

Robyn Walters, alongside her husband, Jack Walters, and mother, Julie Turner, will be opening Robyn's Place, at 1709 London Road, Leigh.

The new business is a coffee shop with a built-in children's play area, intended to offer something "unique to the community".

She said: "We are so excited. I really feel it is going to be a great addition to Leigh.

"I have always wanted a coffee shop, as I loved visiting other businesses and coming across quirky places.

"But the idea for Robyn's Place really started to come to life, when I had my two little girls.

"I noticed that there just weren't many places that catered to parents who want to have a catch up in a place aesthetically pleasing for adults, that is also great for children.

"We hope to build a community here."

The coffee shop will use locally roasted coffee and will also serve light bites and pastries.

Robyn hopes that her business will create a close community for families to come together and enjoy the company of other parents.

She added: "It will be more than just a coffee shop—it is designed with families in mind, featuring a children’s play area where parents can relax while their little ones have fun, whilst serving locally roasted coffee, light bites and pastries.

"We also offer a range of events for children and are available for private hire, making it the perfect venue for birthday parties, baby showers, and other family celebrations.

"We believe Robyn’s Place will be a wonderful addition to Leigh, creating a welcoming, community-focused environment for families to gather and connect."

Robyn's Place is set to open on October 5.
