AN incident has provoked a police response in a pedestrian footpath in New Town, Colchester.
Police have cordoned off Kendall Road Folley after an incident which was believed to have taken place between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
Officers remain on the scene.
A bundle of police tape had also been discarded in a nearby bin, suggesting there may have been a wider police cordon in place before it was later scaled down.
The Gazette has contacted Essex Police to clarify the nature of the incident and whether any arrests have been made.
