The iconic Basildon sign has been lit up pink in support of Organ Donation Week.
Organ Donation Week is a national campaign raising awareness about the importance of organ donation.
This year, the event holds special significance as it marks 30 years of the NHS Organ Donor Register.
The initiative aims to encourage more people to consider becoming donors, potentially saving lives.
To raise awareness, Basildon Council has lit up its sign in the pink colour, which marks the occasion.
A spokesman for Basildon Council added: "The Basildon sign is shining pink as we unite to support Organ Donation week.
