A FATHER and son duo named among the most influential people in the theatre industry are bringing their smash hit shows to Southend.

Michael and James Taylor, who run Canvey-based entertainment company Entertainers, have announced their two most popular music shows, The Magic of Motown and Lost In Music, will come Cliffs Pavilion this month.

 

The father and son team, who were recently listed in The Stage Top 100 list of the most influential people in the theatre industry, have more than 30 other productions in their portfolio including The Rocket Man, Fastlove and Man in the Mirror. All of which are touring the UK throughout the year.

The Magic of Motown turned 20 years old this year and has bee seen by millions of people since it started in 2004. The show takes audiences down memory lane with all the Motown classics from the likes of Diana Ross and The Jackson 5, during a live concert spectacular featuring glittering costumes and dance routines.

Lost In Music re-lives the sensational 1970s with a world class bland performing hits from icons such as Donna Summer and Earth, Wind and Fire.

Lost In Music will be at the Westcliff theatre on Thursday, October 17 while The Magic of Motown will hit the stage the following week on Friday, October 25.
