These five perfect pooches at Basildon's Dogs Trust rehoming centre are looking for their forever homes.
Andy, Labrador
This excitable two-year-old needs a family who will be able to dedicate time to his training. Andy has a tendency to be quite vocal towards other dogs and will need a family who can help him work on his social skills. The centre are recommending he be adopted by an adult-only home, and he will need a family member present for the majority of the day as he gets nervous when alone.
Delta, German Shepherd
Three-year-old Delta is desperate for her forever home and is comfortable living with children aged 14 and over. The centre have said he would need to be the only dog in the home, and added she does not like to be left alone. Delta has sadly not been around other dogs and people much and staff have described her as “quite sheltered,” but added she has so much love and affection to give to the right owner.
Jolene, Cocker Spaniel
This precious pup is desperate to find her forever home and a family who will give her space when needed. The Trust have said this 11-year-old girl needs a family who will happily give her a fuss, and are patient enough to build a relationship with her. She can live with a fully vaccinated dog pending a successful dog introduction at the Trust.
Scooter, French Bulldog cross
This one-year-old cheeky boy is “full of character” according to staff at the Trust. They have said a private garden would be beneficial to help with his housetraining. They have said new owners should try to build up to his time left alone, doing so slowly until he is comfortable being by himself.
Bonnie, German Shepherd
Bonnie is a friendly girl who is looking for a home where she would be the only pet. Staff have said she can be a little “apprehensive” when it comes to being outside. They said she requires a home who have plenty of patience and understanding.
