A Southend teenager has been arrested in connection with an assault in Eastwood.
A 16-year from Southend has become the second person arrested on suspicion of GBH without intent on Sunday October 6.
It follows the arrest of a 22-year-old man from Great Wakering on Saturday.
The arrests are connected to an incident at 4.30pm on Saturday October 5 where a man in his 20s was found with stab wounds in Rayleigh Road.
It was reported the victim had been seen to be chased by a group of four men who had got out of two vehicles, one of which is described as a red 4x4.
He was taken to hospital for treatment but fortunately his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A police spokesman said: "Our enquiries are continuing and if you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
