Motorists are facing lengthy delays on the A127 this morning - with traffic stretching through Eastwood and into Southend.
Delays of five minutes and increasing are being reported on the A127 arterial road between Mendip Crescent and St Michaels Road, according to AA traffic map.
The average speed is ten mph, with traffic backing up the junction with Rayleigh Road and the A127.
