Police have appealed to speak to anyone with information following a spate of business burglaries in Wickford. 

It was reported a suspect damaged the window of Temme English in The Broadway, Wickford, at about 4am on Monday October 7 and stole a camera from inside.

The suspect is believed to be about 30 years old, 5ft 11in tall, of slim build and had a beard. He was wearing a cap, white puffer jacket, red gloves and trainers.

Into Hair, in Runwell Road, Wickford, was also targeted around 4am on Monday - with a window smashed and nothing taken. 

A police spokesman said: "Police also believe other businesses were burgled in the area around this time, and we would encourage any of those affected to report this to us to support our work."

Inspector Christopher Simpson said: “Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and we are following up several lines of enquiry to identify the suspect in this burglary.

"If you have any information, or if you have also been a victim of burglary on this Monday morning, please get in touch.”
