A ROAD set to shut this month for more than two weeks is among the latest public notices this week.
Church Hill is closing in Laindon for 19 days, near Laindon Park Primary School and Nursery, while UK Power Networks carries out overhead cabling works. The road will be closed from its junction with St Nicholas Lane on October 28.
An alternative route is available via Upper Mayne, Burches Roundabout, Upper Mayne, Upper Mayne Roundabout, St Nicholas Lane and vice versa.
Furtherwick Road on Canvey is also closing for two nights this month while Essex County Council carries out zebra crossing post replacement.
The main road will be closed from its junction with Foksville Road to Long Road from 7pm until 4am on October 23 and 24.
Pitsea Bypass' off-slip road to its junction with Broadway Link roundabout is closing for three nights.
The closures will be in place between 9pm and 5pm from October 22 while Essex Highways undertakes horticultural works.
Daws Heath Road will also be closed off in Hadleigh for more than a week this month.
The closure will be in place for nine days between Bramble Road and Western Road while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
Drivers will be diverted via Western Road, Daws Heath Road and vice versa.
Lower Road in Hockley is closing for two days on October 19 while new connection is undertaken by UK Power Networks.
The closure will be in place from Church Road. A diversion route will be signposted.
A lane closure will be in place on the A127 this month for Essex Highways works.
The closure will be in place after the slip road Southend-bound from the junction with the A132 near Wickford.
This is while Essex Highways carries out works to the vehicle restraint system at this location.
Bellingham Lane in Rayleigh will close for one day on November 3 while pole replacement is carried out by Openreach.
The one way restriction in the road between the High Street and London Hill will also be suspended during this time.
An alternative route is available via High Street, Hockley Road, Upway, Station Crescent and London Hill (with access only into Bellingham Lane).
