A POPULAR High Street pub is set to close for a major ten-day £90,000 renovation project next week.
The Roebuck, in Rayleigh High Street, will be closed from Monday October 14 and re-open on Thursday October 24 following ten days of works.
With 1,116 Google reviews and an overall four-star rating, pub is popular in the area for its range of real ales, craft beers and "great cocktails".
The revamp will see an overhaul of the customer area with a new colour scheme and "smarter" look.
A Wetherspoon spokesman said: "The pub will be closed from Monday morning and will re-open on Thursday October 24.
"The pub will have enhanced bespoke over-bar glass racks and will have a full redecoration of the customer area with a new colour scheme.
"Everything should look a lot sharper and smarter when we reopen.
"The project is £90,000."
