Water has been seen spurting out from the middle of a road and flooding a street in Thorpe Bay.
A video seen by the Echo shows a burst water main in Thorpe Hall Avenue, which began to cause significant flooding.
The incident occurred earlier this morning, and led to large amounts of water gushing down the street.
Cars can be seen slowly crawling around the burst water main, navigating through the flooded road.
This is not the first time Thorpe Hall Avenue has experienced such an issue.
This comes just weeks after the road was closed on September 25, following a burst water main, which forced three schools to close due to a loss of water.
Water supplies were restored by Essex and Suffolk Water within hours, but the road was closed for almost a week for repairs to be carried out.
Essex and Suffolk Water has been contacted for comment by the Echo.
