A faulty signalling system caused disruptions across South Essex train services this morning.
C2c has informed travellers about disruptions on all lines due to a fault with the signalling system between London Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness.
According to the train provider, the fault led to delays, cancellations or revisions of services.
C2c confirmed that lines reopened at 7.47am but estimated the disruptions to last until 9am and has asked travellers for patience.
