A POSTMAN was seriously attacked after being approached by a gang of men while working on an Essex estate.
The victim reported he was approached by a group of men in Joyners Field, Harlow, while working and assaulted.
He suffered injuries which are thankfully not life-threatening or life-changing, but required hospital treatment.
The assault was reported to have taken place at around 3pm on Sunday.
Detectives investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
