FOUR men in balaclavas attempted to break into a home in Basildon during an attempted burglary in broad daylight.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the attempted burglary in Beeston Court at around 5.20pm on Tuesday, October 15.
It was reported that four men, wearing black coats and balaclavas tried to force entry to a property in the street via the front and rear doors before leaving the scene.
A police spokesman said: "We’re now appealing for any witnesses with information or doorbell footage from the area at the time of the incident to come forward and assist us with our enquiries.
"If you have any information, please contact us quoting incident 887 of Tuesday October 15."
