An air ambulance has been spotted landing at a popular park in Benfleet ahead of reports of a large emergency services presence.
The helicopter was seen landing in Villa Park, in Benfleet, this afternoon by concerned residents in the area.
At this stage, it is unknown what the air ambulance is responding to, but the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance and the East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
This comes as unconfirmed reports now suggest there is also a large emergency services presence in the area, with Essex Police and Essex Fire also on the scene.
Both have also been contacted for comment.
