These six perfect pooches at Basildon's Dogs Trust rehoming centre are looking for their forever homes.
Odin and Nala, Siberian Husky cross and Alaskan Malamute
This dastardly duo are preferably looking for their brand new forever home together. Despite the introduction, this pair of pooches came to the centre through no fault of their own and are hoping to fill someone’s life with light. Three-year-old Odin, who looks as divine as his name suggests, is a playful pup who is full of energy. His pal, Nala, who is also three-years-old, is more of the independent sort, and has been described by staff at the centre as a confident dog. They are both desperate for a place to call their own, and the duo will need to have no other dogs in the home if adopted together as Nala is not fond of other canines.
Marley and Tyson, Chihuahua
This pair would like to be adopted together according to the centre, having become “very bonded.” They would prefer a home with a garden where they can explore to their heart’s content. Marley and Tyson have both been described by the trust as nervous, and will need a patient and understanding family who can help them with this. Their new family will need to be able to come to the centre multiple times before taking them home, to help build a relationship with the pair.
Furby, French Bulldog
Fabulous, fluffy, and just as lovable as the toy you had when you were a kid, Furby is on the lookout for his new home. The centre have said this pup came to them with no history, but has been the model resident so far. This lad is looking for a home with no other pets, but can have walking pals who are small dogs like himself. The centre have said he will be able to live with children aged 11 and over.
Suki, German Shepherd cross
This adorable rascal is a sensitive girl who is looking for a new home after being in kennels for quite some time. She is seeking an adult only home with minimal visitors, as she is quite fearful and can be worried by strangers. Although more anxious around men than women, she can still build bonds with people over time and is looking for understanding owners who can help her through this.
