Motorists are facing severe travel disruptions this morning following crashes on two major roads in south Essex.
The accidents on the A127 and A13 are causing significant delays, with traffic at a near standstill across some parts of south Essex.
The first incident occurred on the A13, at the Stanford-le-Hope by-pass.
This is London bound before A176 (Five Bells Interchange). The congestion is back to just before the Pitsea flyover.
Shortly after, another crash was reported on the A127.
One lane is blocked due to the crash London bound after Childerditch Lane. Congestion is back to Fortune of War.
This comes after major issues on the M25 where two lanes remain closed due to emergency repairs on Dartford Tunnel, as well as a serious lorry fire.
