A POPULAR restaurant on Leigh Broadway has been forced to close temporarily due to "unforeseen gas maintenance".
The Estuary Broadway, a modern restaurant and bar at 45 Broadway, will be closed until 4pm tomorrow for the gas works to be carried out, the owners confirmed on Facebook this evening.
A spokesman shared: "We are sorry for any inconvenience, but look forward to seeing you all when we are back open tomorrow evening onwards."
The Estuary, which has a second restaurant at Westcliff's iconic arches, serves classic breakfast meals alongside burgers, fajitas and seafood plates.
It is self-described as one of the most established restaurants in Leigh Broadway, with more than 684 Google Reviews and 700 on Tripadvisor.
