A KEY road in Southend has closed for emergency water repairs.
Priory Crescent is closed at house number 82 from its junction with Priory Avenue to its junction with Priory Crescent.
The road, off the A127, has closed suddenly today for emergency water works.
These works are being carried out by Essex and Suffolk Water. One.network shows delays are likely while the closure is in place.
An alternative route will be signed and the closure will last for around five days.
Access for residents will be maintained where possible.
