Excitement is building in south Essex as several major firework displays are set to light up the skies next weekend.
With food stalls, entertainment, and more, these events offer a perfect way to celebrate the Bonfire Night season
Here are details of three firework displays set to take place in south Essex next weekend.
1. Southend:
The skies of Southend seafront will dazzle on November 2, as part of eight weeks of spectacular fireworks.

The fireworks are set off from a barge out in the Estuary, east of Southend Pier, meaning you can get a fantastic, uninterrupted view of the displays anywhere from Sealife Adventure to Genting Casino.
The final fireworks event, on 16 November, will coincide with the 2024 Christmas switch-on event in Southend.
