Southend’s streets were filled with spooky spirits and scary costumes for family events at the weekend.
The Southend Zombie Walk returned with a fantastic turnout on Saturday, after several years away.
The iconic event started at 12pm at Southend Victoria Circus and participants were dressed up as well-known film characters and Halloween-themed characters.
They walked down High Street to Pier Hill with many continuing a family day out in costume.
In the evening, the seafront was turned into a spectacle of light, colours and fun for the return of the Halloween parade.
The fourth annual parade took off at 6pm and featured giant puppets, inflatable creatures, music, dance acts and more.
