TWO "brilliant" Scottish spots have been named among the 20 best places in the UK for a roast dinner by The Telegraph.
Introducing the list, the newspaper said that Sunday roast dinners were once the "preserve of the home cook" but that in modern times many of us look to eat out when trying to get our fill of roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings.
With so many great options to choose from, here are the two Scottish locations named among the best in the UK.

The Scottish restaurants named among the best for a roast dinner in the UK by The Telegraph were the Kinloch Lodge on the Isle of Skye and The Spence in Edinburgh.
The Kinloch Lodge was praised for its "glorious, untouched scenery" and its extensive use of produce that "every chef dreams of".
A Sunday lunch here isn't extortionately expensive with a three-course meal costing just £44. The food is said to be "epic" with diners able to expect a great variety of choices including venison haunch and truffled mushrooms.
The Spence, which is an offshoot of "Scotland's most famous hotel" - The Gleneagles Hotel in Auchterader - was equally impressive with its "glass-domed banking hall" setting making it the ideal spot for a Sunday banquet.
The publication said the pub is a "chic place" to meet with friends and family and commended the options served to diners here.
These include rare roast Scottish sirloin (£36) and Ayrshire pork loin (£24) with Yorkshire puddings, cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes.
