An appeal has been launched after Essex Police used tracker technology to recover a stolen car from Benfleet.
Officers say a black Ford Puma was stolen from Daws Heath Road, Benfleet, in the early hours of Monday.
The vehicle, believed to have been driven toward Hadleigh after being stolen at around 2:58am, was traced by policing teams from Castle Point, Rochford, and Southend.
Following tracker information, officers successfully located the stolen vehicle at approximately 3:30am on Northfield Crescent, Great Wakering.
Essex Police are now seeking to identify anyone who may have been seen driving the Puma.
A spokesman said: “We are keen to trace any person seen to use the Puma.
