A Billericay man has appeared in court to deny beating a woman and causing her actual bodily harm (ABH).
Nicholas Jones, 24, of Darell Way, denied the charges at Basildon Crown Court on Friday, November 1.
He is charged with two counts of assault by beating, in June and July this year.
He is also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in 2021.
A fourth charge alleges that on July 8, he caused criminal damage to a television.
All four charges relate to the same alleged victim.
Mr Jones told the court he was “absolutely not guilty”.
His trial, estimated to last three days, was put in the court calendar for April next year.
Mr Jones was released on bail with a condition not to contact his alleged victim.
