C2C train services are not stopping at Basildon because emergency services are on the scene of an incident.
The announcement was made on social media shortly after 3pm this afternoon, but no details have been shared about the nature of the incident.
The c2c website is showing severe delays from Shoeburyness to Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street stations, although it is not known whether they are a result of the emergency call-out.
I post from c2c’s X account read: “Due to emergency services dealing with an incident, c2c services are not currently stopping at Basildon.
“Please check your journey before travelling.”
Updates and cancellations can be found on the c2c website: https://www.journeycheck.com/c2c/.
