Traffic is still heavily congested on the M25 near the Dartford Tunnel after an earlier lorry breakdown caused significant delays during the morning rush hour.
The stalled lorry, which was stranded anticlockwise near Junction 1a (A206 Dartford Tunnel), led to lengthy queues and slow-moving traffic.
Queues are reportedly stretching back to Junction 3 (M20 Swanley Interchange) and further along the A2 past Gravesend.
The incident, which caused lane blockages, has since been cleared, with all lanes reopening at around 7:30am.
However, residual delays persist, with heavy traffic still reported as of this morning, affecting commuters and drivers in the surrounding areas.
