MORE than 100 families facing extremely difficult circumstances have been treated to a “magical day” at Marsh Farm’s Father Christmas Experience.
Marsh Farm, sknown for its immersive Christmas-themed events, partnered with Partyman’s Magic Makers charity to create a day of joy and escape for families in challenging situations.
The event, in South Woodham Ferrers, featured a range of enchanting activities, from elf training to meet-and-greets with Father Christmas himself.
Debbie Bowerman, director of Partyman’s Magic Makers. said: “For these families, it may be their last Christmas together.
“It could also be the first without a special someone, or simply a chance to take a break from daily struggles and make unforgettable memories.
"We work with Marsh Farm every year to provide this experience to families who need it most."
Marsh Farm’s Father Christmas Experience officially opens to the public this weekend on dates throughout November and December.
The magical experience begins at the Elf Academy, where children learn spells to earn a spot on Father Christmas’s team- if the playful elves can remember the magic.
Visitors then step into a whimsical Snow Show, filled with wintry surprises, before following the delicious scents to Mother Christmas’s kitchen for sweet treats.
In the Grotto, Father Christmas greets each child, checking his Naughty and Nice list and ensuring he received every Christmas wish.
The adventure continues at the Teddy Bear Market, where children make their own furry friends to take home, and wrapped up at the Elf Emporium, where guests exchanged Elf money - Magical Snowy - for gifts.
To add to the festive spirit, families can then enjoy festive rides, farm animal encounters, ice skating, and holiday-inspired treats.
