A PEDESTRIAN has sustained serious head and leg injuries after being hit by a car in Shoebury.
Emergency services rushed to North Shoebury Road at around 7:20pm yesterday following reports of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, sustained serious head and leg injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers have urged any witnesses or anyone with footage to come forward.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in North Shoebury Road, Shoebury at around 7.20pm on Tuesday, November 11.
"The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, sustained a serious head and leg injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
"If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
"Please quote incident 1067 of November 12."
