A FAST-FOOD restaurant at Pitsea Retail Park has reopened its doors following a major revamp with new technology design for the future added.

McDonald’s, in Pitsea Retail Park, has reopened after a “Convenience of the Future” redesign, which promises to deliver a better customer experience for all.

This revamped outlet, part of McDonald’s nationwide initiative to modernize and streamline the customer experience, is owned and operated by franchisee Pete Tassell, who manages four McDonald’s locations across Essex.

The renovation promises a faster, more efficient experience for customers and a more comfortable work environment for staff.

Pete Tassell said: “I am proud to reinvest in our Pitsea Retail Park restaurant - especially as McDonald’s celebrates its 50th anniversary in the UK this year.

“The dining area is more contemporary, and we now have separate facilities for our dine-in customers and our couriers leading to a better experience for everyone.

“It is exciting to see the fresh new look and feel of our Pitsea Retail Park restaurant and I am confident the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our staff as they will help make their jobs a little easier.”

The redesign features dedicated areas for different ordering methods, removing the traditional front counter and optimising the kitchen layout.

This layout better integrates digital sales through the McDonald’s App, enhancing efficiency and leaving more space for customers to enjoy their meals in a relaxed environment.

In addition to customer-focused upgrades, the redesign also includes an improved crew room, providing staff with a more comfortable and relaxing space for breaks.
