A woman has been taken to hospital following a medical emergency in Southend this morning.
Essex and Herts Air Ambulance confirmed the woman was transported to Southend Hospital after suffering a medical episode on Victoria Road at 10:22am.
They added two ambulances and an air ambulance were deployed to the scene, and was taken to hospital by road ambulance.
An air ambulance had been reported landing at Warrior Square earlier this morning.
An Essex and Herts Air Ambulance spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.22am to a medical emergency on Victoria Avenue in Southend.
"Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
"An adult woman was transported by road to Southend Hospital for treatment."
