AN appeal for information has been launched after a pedestrian was hit by a car in a south Essex town centre.
A man in his 60s was reportedly hit by a blue Ford KA in Church Hill, Stanford-le-Hope at around 7.25pm on Friday, November 1.
Officers arrived and the pedestrian was treated for serious but non-life threatening or life-changing injures.
Officers from Essex Police's roads policing unit have been working to establish what happened and would like to speak to anyone who saw, or has camera footage, of the incident.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We are appealing for information following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Church Hill, Stanford-le-Hope.
