STAFF at Burger King are "counting down the days" until its popular Basildon restaurant opens its doors again after a major refurbishment.
The fast food giant's Pipps Hill branch has been closed for more than two weeks to undergo the huge revamp which will see both the interior and exterior overhauled.
Now, bosses have revealed the restaurant, offering a selection of burgers, fries and sides, will be re-opening on Tuesday.
Basildon Pipps Hill’s restaurant manager at Burger King, said: “Myself and the team are counting down the days until we re-open our doors to the hungry customers of Basildon.
"We can’t wait to welcome customers old and new to enjoy a delicious meal with us.”
The restaurant will be open at Pipps Hill Retail Park from 8am to 2am.
A spokesman added: "The re-opening is the perfect opportunity for Burger King fans to try the latest gourmet kings smoked cheddar and bacon collection.
"The delicious new burgers feature juicy flame-grilled beef or tender crispy chicken, melted smoky cheddar cheese and streaky bacon, topped with pink pickled onion and fresh rocket – all sandwiched between soft, delicious brioche bun, swirled with toasted onion sauce."
