Echo reporter George Pizani visited Estuary Arches Seafood and Grill in Westcliff to taste what’s on offer and experience the atmosphere at this unique seafront venue.
It was wet and windy when I decided to visit Westcliff’s Estuary Arches Seafood and Grill, and I was relieved to be met with blast of warm air as I stepped through the front door.
I settled down to scan the menu and struggled to decide on just one of the many mouth-watering options. The restaurant makes good use of it’s estuary-side location, serving an array of seafood dishes.
I settled on a very indulgent baked camembert with onion chutney and deliciously soft bread.
From my first bite it was clear that the restaurant took the quality of their dishes seriously, with each one being more enjoyable and satisfying than the last.
The combination of tangy onion chutney and rich, gooey camembert offered a comforting taste sensation that went a long way on a cold November day.
From the minute I walked into Estuary Arches Seafood and Grill, I was made to feel like part of the family, with the restaurant’s attentive and friendly staff going above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable.
Nothing was too much to ask, and I got the impression that they genuinely enjoyed their work.
I’m already planning my next visit.
