WHETHER it’s for a celebration dinner or a casual get together, a trip to the Estuary Arches Seafood and Grill on Westcliff’s Palmeira Parade ensures you will be met with grinning smiles.

The sister location of Leigh’s incredibly popular Estuary Broadway restaurant, the Estuary Arches Seafood and Grill has been delighting diners on Westcliff’s seafront for years.

Although the beautifully and carefully designed restaurant specialises in seafood dishes, visitors will find a menu that caters to all tastes and preferences.

Adam Williams, 40, has been managing Estuary Arches Seafood and Grill for more than twelve years and believes that the friendliness of his staff goes a long way in making the restaurant a hit with guests.

“I’ve worked here for at least twelve years, and I really do think that the service and staff is what makes us different to other restaurants,” he said.

“Our staff always have a smile on their faces, and I think that makes a really pleasant atmosphere for our guests.”

It’s not just the all-smiles service that Adam believes has made his restaurant a success, with the long-time manager also pointing to the quality of the ingredients he sources.

He said: “We try to choose really good suppliers and produce for all of our ingredients, and I think that makes a difference that diners can notice”.

Much of the restaurant’s menu takes advantage of its proximity to the water, serving a menu of fresh and largely locally sourced seafood.

That proximity also means that the restaurant is a uniquely special place to hold events and important celebrations.

An entirely glass front allows for breathtaking views across the water, and an open plan interior design means the space is also a popular space for private events.

“We have a lot of parties, events and celebrations because of the view and food” said deputy manager, 21-year-old Rebecca Sands-Wren.

“I think the fact that we’ve got an open plan space that also includes more intimate areas makes us really popular for parties.

The Estuary Arches Seafood and Grill is open throughout the winter.
