A WORLD-famous candle brand is bringing its special Christmas bus tour to south Essex next week.

To ring in the holiday season, Yankee Candle, a major manufacturer and retailer of scented candles, has announced its red Yankee Candle Express is visiting Lakeside as part of a nationwide tour.

The bus, which takes its inspiration from the brand’s Christmas TV advert, will take its passengers on a festive fragrance journey with a photobooth, hot chocolate and free scented goodies.

Each visitor will receive a gift bag of festive fragrance to take home or gift to a loved one.  

Taylor Perlis, fragrance expert at Yankee Candle, said: “Smell can transport us in an instant, evoking nostalgic memories that are tied to special moments in our lives, while also creating new moments that turn into memories.”

The Yankee Candle Express stops at the West Thurrock shopping centre on December 6, 7, and 8 during its tour across "some of the UK’s most iconic shopping destinations".
