Drivers are facing "severe delays" along the A127 near Eastwood following a crash which has partially blocked the road.
The A127 is partially blocked following reports of a crash involving two cars and a motorbike toward Kent Elms Corner.
Delays are being reported as "severe" and are increasing along the road. The average speed is currently ten miles per hour.
The AA Traffic website states: "Partially blocked and queueing traffic due to crash on A127 Arterial Road Eastbound at Eastwood Road North."
Essex Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for comment.
