A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars in south Essex.
Emergency services were called to Norsey Road, in Billericay, at around 6.30am this morning.
This was following a crash involving two vehicles.
The East of England Ambulance Service has since confirmed a woman has been taken to hospital.
In a statement, the ambulance service stated: "We were called just after 6.30am with reports of a road traffic collision on Little Norsey Road in Billericay involving two vehicles.
"An ambulance was sent to the scene.
"One patient, an adult female, was transported to Basildon University Hospital for further care."
