A major road in Thorpe Bay has been partially closed due to heavy flooding as crews on site work to try and pump the water away.
Thorpe Hall Avenue is currently closed towards Royal Artillery Way between the Woodgrange Drive roundabout and the A13 roundabout due to heavy flooding.
Workers are currently positioned under the railway bridge used by rail operator c2c, with a tanker pumping water in an effort to clear the flooding.
Thorpe Hall Avenue has faced multiple issues with severe flooding in the past few years, as the roads drainage systems are frequently overwhelmed by heavy rainfall.
There is also flooding along Woodgrange Drive.
