Motorists are facing severe delays on the A127 in Southend this morning.
Reports indicate a significant slowdown on the A127 Westbound, between A1158 Prince Avenue and St. Michaels Road, with journey times extended by approximately 13 minutes.
Traffic is crawling along the stretch at an average speed of just five miles per hour.
At this time, the cause of the disruption is unclear.
However, drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
