THE family behind the viral “Yorkshire Pudding Boy” Halloween costume have set their sights on securing a Christmas number one with a heartfelt festive single.

The Paley family, from Southend, found online fame last month when their brilliantly bizarre Yorkshire Pudding costume went viral on TikTok – even securing dad James and son Aaron an appearance on ITV’s This Morning.

Videos of the costume, comprising of around 350 Yorkshire puddings, went viral on social media after being shared by James, who runs the Saxon King pub.

The profits made from the song will be going to the NSPCC and the National Autistic Society.
“We wanted to write a song with a producer friend of ours, and as both he and I have autistic children, we wanted to do something that dealt with the challenges they face,” said James.

He added: “The whole point of the song is to show that just because something isn’t considered “normal” doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

“We’re hoping that anyone who is neurodivergent or different will relate to it.”

The single’s vocals were performed by James’ son, 13-year-old Aaron, who in addition to modelling his father’s famous edible costume is also a talented young performer.

According to James, the experience of recording in a professional studio was incredibly valuable to Aaron and offered him a rare taste of how the music industry works.

“It was just fantastic for him to be in that studio, learning and practicing how to do all the different little things,” he said.

Although the song is inspired by James and his producer’s experiences with neurodivergence, the pub owner also believes it links to his Yorkshire Pudding Boy creation.

He said “Yorkshire pudding Boy looked like a monster but all he wanted was love.

Despite not yet being officially released, All I Am has already been given 20/1 odds of securing the Christmas number one slot by Bet365, outranking Taylor Swift and Oasis.

The song will be officially released on Thursday December 12 and available for pre-order from Friday December 6 on Amazon Music, Apple Music and Spotify.
