One person has been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on a south Essex High Street.
East of England Ambulance Service confirmed they received a report of a crash between two cars at the junction between Eastwood Road and Rayleigh High Street at 10:25pm on Friday.
They added an ambulance was deployed to the scene and one patient was taken to hospital for further treatment.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.25pm on Friday 29 November to a road traffic collision involving two cars on the junction of Eastwood Road and the High Street in Rayleigh.
"An ambulance was sent to the scene and transported one patient to Southend University Hospital for further treatment."
