THE body of a 20-year-old who tragically fell to his death in a Turkish hotel has been repatriated back to the UK as his family prepare for the “long fight to get answers”.
Tyler Kerry, from Pitsea, was found at the bottom of a lift shaft at the Trendy Lara hotel in Antalya on Friday morning.
However, the family claim they have been given “no conclusive answers” and are calling for his death to be treated as murder until foul play can be ruled out.

The former Porters Grange Primary School student’s body was returned to the UK via Heathrow Airport yesterday morning.
“He arrived back in the UK at around 10am and as far as I know there were no issues,” said Tyler’s uncle, Alex Price.
“We’re relieved to have him back, but it also feels like the beginning of a long process. There’s going to be a lot of work ahead to get to the bottom of what happened to Tyler.”
The exact details of the Turkish police investigation into Tyler’s death remain unclear, according to the family.
They claim there is enough evidence to suggest suspicious circumstances surrounding Tyler’s death.
Alex said: “They couldn’t confirm to Tyler’s grandparents that the investigation had begun in earnest.
“They showed them short snippets taken from CCTV but nothing that was particularly conclusive.”
The family also feel that there has been insufficient concern from the Trendy Lara Hotel Anatalya, where the family had been staying at the time of Tyler’s death.
A spokesperson for the Trendy Lara Antalya said: “We would like to share our heartfelt condolences to the family of Tyler Kerry who sadly passed away while on holiday at Trendy Lara Hotel.
“We will continue to provide support to Tyler’s family at this incredibly difficult time.
“As this is a police investigation we are unable to comment further.”
