RICOCHET returns with an evening of rock and punk to beat those post Christmas blues.
Four bands will be playing the monthly music night which takes place at the Kursaal Function Suite, in Eastern Esplanade, Southend, on Sunday.
Headlining the event is punk outfit Eleven Eleven, who fuse dance beats and roaring guitars.
The winners of the Heart FM Battle Of The Bands 2009 have toured with Elliot Minor, and shared the same stage as Feeder and Ash at this year’s Hevy Music Festival, in Kent.
Clacton indie boys the Mundens bring their catchy dance breakdowns to the party.
The young four-piece count the Cribs, Foals and Arctic Monkeys amongst their influences.
Two Southend bands, the Ends and the Slums complete the line-up.
“It is the one night a month where people get to see the next big thing, as well as sharing their passion for music,” says organiser Jason Davis. The night runs from 7pm to 11pm. Tickets are £5.
