Southend Council leader Nigel Holdcroft, speaking of the cabinet system (April 8), says many of the policies of his council would not have happened if more councillors were involved. Is that democracy or dictatorship?
He also says if the cabinet system was taking decisions that were out of kilter with what the rest of the council wanted we would be thrown out”.
I agree and say good riddance to his party political dictatorship. The people of Southend are definitely “out of kilter” with his cabinet decisions.
